The following week I bought a chassis from Jeff Dunfee Racing and went to work. With a lot of help from my brother, 2 months later I was on the

track racing. I’ve been having fun ever since with no regrets. Prior to oval track racing, I did some drag racing at Norwalk Raceway Park in Norwalk, OH. I raced a street/strip Camaro in a modified stock class. There’s little comparison between the two sports, oval track racing is far more involved and much more fun. I plan to be racing in circles for a long time and gradually move up in classes.

I’m the mechanic, can’t say that it’s easy, but I enjoy it. I’ve always been fascinated with just how fast I can get a car to go. So one day my brother came to me with this

idea of running oval track, of course being the speed freak that I am, I had to go along with the idea. We went to see a race, walk through the pits and see what it’s all about. From that day on, I knew that this is the next step up...from drag racing that is. Believe me, drag racing doesn’t hold a candle to this oval track racing!
