During the heat race, the transmission fell out of gear twice on me. After that race we
tightened the shifter to help hold it in gear. The feature went well until after the final caution. The engine temperature creeped up to 250 degrees on me causing a power loss slowing the car down for me.

The races got canceled after qualifying once the rain came. Qualified our fastest yet, the car handling was much better, no more push.

The car was pushing pretty bad all day. Was pulling to the right until we found a loose
nut on the right-lower ball-joint. In the heat race my right-front tire blew when my car came together with the 13 car in turn 1. Feature race went ok, just had to run a slower
than normal pace to keep the car straight. A lot of thanks to the Pace brothers for coming to the track that day and helping in the pits, we ended up with a lot of work to
do on the car so it was really good they came.

During hot laps, the water pump broke and the fan went in to the radiator. With the
water pump broke, fan mangled, lower pulley chipped, and the radiator destroyed we loaded up and went home. This was a bad race to miss being a double points race. I
believe the pump broke from having the belt too tight.

We got the cooling problem fixed as long as the pump belt stayed on. The belt came
off every time we went out. Now we need to find a pulley system that will work good for the car.

The Heat race was very long with many cautions. I started behind the 13 car and
ended up rear-ending him several times trying to stay close to him. After the race we found his rear tow hook in my radiator air box, so we returned it to him. I didn't even
get to finish a lap in the Feature race. Coming through turn 4 of the first lap, I was on the outside of the 20 car as he was bumping me all through the turn. Then coming out
of that turn, he decided to drive straight at the wall, so I got ran into the wall from him. Then after I hit the wall I came back down into the side of the 7 car. The 20
car didn't hit the wall, just drove me into it. Both my front fenders, hood, and nose piece is pretty smashed up. Ruined a rim and tire too.
Engine is still running pretty hot at 240-250 degrees. We’re going to try using a stock
crank pulley to see how that improves the cooling situation, we have a 50% under-drive on it now.

Track was pretty slick all day. Qualified about the same as the last event. We got to
run our heat race, then after a few more heat races the rain ended the day. I had to pull out in the heat race with 2 laps to go due to a leaking valve cover gasket, so I got a
new set of aluminum valve covers to help resolve that problem.

Qualified 1/2 second faster than last week. The car handling this week was much
better over last weeks performance. Coming out of the turn was hooking up really well, going in still needs some work. Seems the rear brakes need some work too so
that should help with getting in the turn better. Need to work on keeping it cooler too.

Qualified a bit faster, but we still have a ways to go to catch up to the leaders.

Qualifying didn’t go to well, first lap I wasn’t ready for the green flag and the second
lap I got sideways in turn 4. The Heat race started out OK, got loose in turn 1 and the entire pack got by me. The Feature race was really exciting. After 2 restarts, we ran
15 laps straight caution free. About the 1st or 2nd lap I ended up in the middle of a three wide race down the front straight with #54 on the inside and #20 on the outside, I
backed off and dropped down behind #54 as we went into turn 1 since both cars were ahead of me. Held on to 3rd place till lap 13, my rear bumper got in the way of the #5
car putting me completely sideways in turn 2, I got it straighten out but lost 3rd place. Overall a really good first race this season.

Practice went pretty well, gave us a chance to see the track and start to get a feel for it.
We were having a fuel delivery problem, so that kept us busy trying to figure out what was causing the car to loose power after a few laps. Looking forward to next Saturday for practice again.
